- To establish a centre of excellence in Education and Research in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- To mould the students into competitive engineers and enable them to face the challenges of the ever changing scenario and succeed in personal and professional field.
- To provide a conducive environment that shapes students into professionals who rema
in in very demand.
- To help the students in defining a distinct place for them, where even the lines between software and hardware are getting blurred.
To provide a platform for students, to realize, enhance and polish their skills in the field of electronics and communication.
- To keep the students aware of latest cutting edge technologies through talks by experts, seminars etc.
- To reinforce skills to work in a team through project works.
- To establish an uncompromising commitment to quality.
Electronics and Communication Engineering was started in 1997 and is currently running B.E., M.Tech and Ph.D Programs. The department is headed by Prof.Basavaraj G.Kudamble M.Tech (Ph.D), who has around 17 years of experience in teaching and research. The department has 12 faculty members of Asst. Professors. The faculties are well motivated and take personal care of the students and counsel them at regular intervals. They also inform the parents / guardians about the progress of their ward regularly. Every 12 students are mentored by an experienced faculty member. Industry-academia interaction is given a prime importance. The guest lectures by eminent scientists and industrial visits are constantly been organized.
Program Educational Objectives( PEO’s):
PEO-1: Provide graduates with a strong foundation in mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals to enable them to devise and deliver efficient solutions to challenging problems in electronics, communications and allied disciplines.
PEO-2: Graduates of the program will continue to learn and adapt in a world of constantly evolving technology.
PEO-3: Exhibit professionalism, ethical attitude, communication skills, team work in their profession and adapt to current trends by engaging in lifelong learning.
