Electronics and Communication Engineering was started in 1997 and is currently running B.E., M.Tech and Ph.D Programs. The department is headed by Prof.Basavaraj G.Kudamble M.Tech (Ph.D), who has around 17 years of experience in teaching and research. The department has 12 faculty members of Asst. Professors. The faculties are well motivated and take personal care of the students and counsel them at regular intervals. They also inform the parents / guardians about the progress of their ward regularly. Every 12 students are mentored by an experienced faculty member. Industry-academia interaction is given a prime importance. The guest lectures by eminent scientists and industrial visits are constantly been organized.

PEO-1: Provide graduates with a strong foundation in mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals to enable them to devise and deliver efficient solutions to challenging problems in electronics, communications and allied disciplines.
