DC Machines and Synchronous Machines LAB,

This lab expose the students to the operation of D.C. Machines and Synchronous Machines and give them experimental skill. By this students get Ability to model and analyze electrical apparatus and their application to industry

The machines in the lab includes,

  • DC shunt, Series and Compound Motors with belt load arrangements
  • Motor – Generator sets
  • Resistive Loads
  • Rectifiers (36V, 230V)
  • Synchronous Motors
  • Alternators (salient & non salient) Induction

Relay and High voltage Lab

These lab expose the students to the operation of Relays and High voltage Kitsand give them experimental skill. By this students get Ability to model and analyze electrical apparatus and their application to industry

The machines in the lab includes,

  • 100kv Transformer.
  • Oil Testing Kit
  • Electrolytic tank.
  • Over current electromechanically and microprocessor relay,
  • Over voltageelectromechanically and microprocessor relay,
  • Negative sequence relay.
  • Fuse kit

AC machines lab

This lab expose the students to the operation of A C. Machines and Induction Motorsand give them experimental skill. By this students get Ability to model and analyze electrical apparatus and their application to industry

  • Transformers (1phase, 3 phase),
  • Auto transformers (1phase& 3 phase)
  • Linear Induction Motor

Measurement & circuit simulation  Lab :

This lab deals with varies electrical measurements and measuring equipment and its application. Simulation of varies electric circuit is also conducted in this lab

Analog and Electronic Circuits Lab

 

To learn analog and digital circuits; enhances learning of circuits like clipper, clamper, flip flops etc. by practical use & simulation.

Micro Controller Lab


This lab contains number of systems equipped with KIEL µVISION 3 and MSP430FG4618 software’s using which different programming exercises are performed. Interface programs such as DC motor, Stepper motor, ADC, DAC, LCD, Hex Keypad and Elevator interfaces are also conducted.

Power Electronics Lab


This lab is equipped with well designed power electronics cards, and storage oscilloscopes. Well designed platforms are available for experimental work to learn the electrical characteristics of various power semiconductor devices and to study the performance of various converters.

Control Systems Lab


This lab is to learn the effect of various controllers (P, PI, PID), to simulate and analyze performance of various control systems using MATLAB.

Power System Simulation Lab


This lab is to learn how to simulation different kinds of disturbances in the power system using MATLAB and Mi-Power software and these results will help to analyze the power system stability.
