VISION

To achieve excellent standards of quality education by keeping pace with rapidly changing technologies. To create technical manpower of global standards with capabilities of accepting new challenges.

MISSION

Inspire the leaders of tomorrow to take on the challenge of creating and sustaining the built environment that underpins our society. Enable these leaders with fundamental engineering knowledge, a broad set of skills, and an inquisitive attitude. In partnership with the many disciplines that makeup the civil engineering field, and in the face of uncertain information, as well as ever-changing needs, risks, and constraints – create engineers who successfully adapt and innovate solutions for the built environment.

FROM HODS DESK

A warm and affectionate welcome from the Department of Civil Engg. at BTLITM  College of Engg.  The department of civil engineering was established in the year 2013. Over the years the department has grown strongly. . It has a sanctioned intake of 60 students. The department offers bachelors of engineering program in civil engineering affiliated to VTU Belgaum. Civil Engg. is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings.

Our department is committed to provide students with a strong, broad based fundamental engineering education and prepare the students for a career in the industry, teaching and national laboratories.

The program emphasizes interdisciplinary team work, communication skills, tools and skills for professional practice, and lifelong learning. We strive to ensure that our graduates understand professional ethics and the value of service to their profession and society through involvement in community, state, and national organizations.
