Message from H.O.D
The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2010 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students. The major thrust in this course is related to the basic principles and detailed analysis of different types of equipment and systems for generation transmission, distribution and utilization of electrical energy.
The course also covers the study of electronic devices and circuits involved in measurement, instrumentation, control and protection of electrical equipment’s and conversion systems.
Concepts of Computer and recent applications of computer based systems in design, analysis and efficient operation of power system maintaining quality and security also included in the course
Every organization begins in a humble and tiny form similar to a mighty river at its birth place. As the journey prolongs with time they grow in dimension acquiring mighty stature. This department which was established in 2010 has passed through the incubation period, gone through lag phase of growth but now entered in logarithmic growth phase (log phase) and moving ahead with multidimensional expansion program. The intoxication due to success levitates me to the heights of pride and joy never experienced before.

Facilities in the dept
The students are provided with all laboratory facilities as per university curriculum. The students are interest to participate in the varies activities in side and outside the college environment one such example is a student by name surajbala had participated in the national quiz computation held in bomby and brought laurel to the college by winning first prize in entire country. First aid is provided in all the laboratory.
The Department maintains a library to meet the specific needs of its students. There are several Volumes, titles, Journals and CD’s available to students through out the academic year.
Student Development Program
The Department takes special initiative for the development of all students by organizing programs and activities like Guest Lectures, Industrial Visits, In-Plant Training, Class Room Seminars, Personal Counseling, Technical Paper Presentations and Sports.
A batch of 10 students is counseled under the guidance of a faculty member who is called the Mentor. Counseling of students is done periodically. The Faculty members discuss with the students about their activities, performance in the examinations, results, etc.The Department has a unique “POWER STROM Engineering association” which provides exclusive membership to the students of this department.
The students are encouraged to carry out in house final year projects. And faculty members are carrying out their research activists making use of college facilities.
